Brittany Brydon is the Marketing & Outreach Specialist of SomaDetect. Originally from the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Brittany has a strong foundation in agriculture, and a first-hand view of what it takes to make food and provide for a family. Brittany has a vision for a resilient future; she believes in treating livestock, farmers, and food with utmost respect, and is piloting her generation towards a sustainable tomorrow. She is the recipient of the 4-H Canada Going Global Exchange Award, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and Scholarship, and attendee of the Global Youth Ag Summit in 2012. She has been active in the 4-H community for many years, showing provincially, organizing weekend retreats and workshops, and more. Brittany has a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies from the University of New Brunswick and is currently pursuing a Masters of Education in Sustainability, Creativity, and Innovation at the University of Cape Breton.
